How do 1:1 coaching sessions work?
All one-on-one sessions with our Talent Team take place via Zoom. These calls last for 30 minutes. The direct scheduling link to book your sessions is available in the tBL Plus Portal.
Do tBL Plus members have exclusive event access?
tBL Plus members enjoy priority registration for theBoardlist community events, as well as access to members-only events not available to our broader community.
Is a recommendation required for tBL Plus members?
A recommendation is not a requirement to join tBL Plus; however, all candidates are required to have for-profit board experience or a recommendation from a for-profit board director to be eligible to appear in search results on theBoardlist.
Can my employer sponsor my membership or reimburse me for my tBL Plus membership?
It's very common for companies to offer reimbursement for professional development. Your company will benefit from the broader, more strategic view of running a business that you'll acquire as a board director, but it's also a matter of retention: board development is a fantastic way to support executives' professional growth while retaining top employees.
Am I guaranteed a board placement at the end of the program?
theBoardlist does not guarantee tBL Plus members a board seat. You will have the tools to consistently attract, intentionally evaluate, and confidently engage with every opportunity that comes your way – and as a tBL Plus member, you'll have exclusive access to view and proactively apply for active searches that fit your background and interests.
